The Pakistan Tennis Federation has been given the clearance to hire Indian coach Beerbul Wadera. PTF President Syed Kaleem Imam confirmed to the Pakistani press that the Ministry of Sports and Interior Ministry had given the go ahead. The government is also considering a proposal by Aisam-ul Haq Qureshi to play against his doubles partner Rohan Bopanna of India on the Wagah border as a message of peace.—Matthew Cronin
