Afternoon, all.
Six of the quarter finalists in Paris Bercy are known. Biggest seed to fall was Novak Djokovic, who appeared (to my eyes) a bit listless during his match with Jo Wilfried Tsonga. The Frenchman preserved his slim hopes of qualifying for the YEC with the win, earning a QF against Andy Roddick, who despatched Gilles "the man they couldn't hang" Simon earlier in the day.
Top seed Rafael Nadal takes on another French contender, Gael Monfils in a little while, and Nikolay Davydenko faces Tomas Berdych in the last match of the day. Still some tennis to be played, and we're up at 1000 comments on Rosangel's original CC post. So use this thread for continuing discussion of today's tennis, after which mildly OT conversation is OK.
