Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova registers 25 double faults in her 7-5, 6-4 victory over Valeria Solovieva at the inaugural Baku Open. It is believed to be one of the highest number of double faults ever registered in a straight-set win on the WTA. Anna Kournikova hit 31 in a three-set win at the 1999 Australian Open, Jelena Dokic hit 28 in a three-set loss to Julia Schruff at Auckland in 2006, and Maria Sharapova registered 20 in a three-set loss to Melanie Oudin at the 2009 U.S. Open.
