The former No. 1 doubles team of Peng Shuai and Su-Wei Hsieh will not play together next year, indicates Peng.

Peng is playing with Andrea Hlavackova this week while Hsieh is at the Asian Games. The Chinese-Taiwanese pair attracted attention for their success as well as for the political significance of their nationalities, an issue which both liked to avoid.

The reigning Roland Garros doubles champions will play together again at the WTA Championships and then begin the search for new partners.

"But still we will play together in the double matches in Singapore because we made the promise that we will play out the matches of this year,'' Peng told a press conference. "Next year she will find a new partner, and I will also find a new one, but currently I am not sure who she will be."
