Nadia Petrova says she suffering from vertigo, which forced her retire from her match in Miami against Sabine Lisicki and also in affecting her Charleston. "I mean, pretty much I feel it all day," Petrova told the Post-Courier. "Light dizziness and just general a bit of kind of like a fatigue. It's an unusual feeling for me, and I'm trying to cope with it."
Petrova and American Liezel Huber just ended their doubles partnership after they lost in the final of Miami. Huber is now playing with fellow American Lisa Raymond, who ended her partnership with German Julia Goerges after their commitment together ran out in Miami. Petrova is playing with Georges in Charleston. "It's a bit personal," Petrova said about the switch. "I don't really want to talk about it."
Huber had an acrimonious split last year with her longtime partner, Cara Black. - Matthew Cronin
