Agnieszka Radwanska found her play very disappointing after losing to the Russian Svetlana Kuznetsova in the Fed Cup World Group.

Playing at Krakow Arena in Poland, Radwanska thought she had a good chance as she was at home, even though Kuznetsova now holds a 11-4 head to head, but  fell apart, losing 6-4, 2-6 6-2.

“It was up and down from beginning to 'till end,” Radwanska told FedCup.com. “Had my chances, didn't use them and it slipped away… I wasn't that nervous but I guess too much at times and it didn't really work.”

The Polish captain Tomasz Wiktorowski said that Agnieszka Radwanska blew it by starting “too slow” following the second set. Maria Sharapova beat Urszula Radwanska in the first match.

Wiktorowski added that Poland had a real chance if they were 1-1 on Sunday, but down 0-2 it would be very difficult.

In a match-up of the top singles players, Radwanska and Sharapova took the court for the third match on Sunday. The Polish captain proved to be right when Sharapova won, 6-1, 7-5 to seal the tie for the Russians 3-0.
