Australian Davis Cup captain Pat Rafter tries to temper expectations of 18-year-old Bernard Tomic. "I definitely see him as a Top 10 player, but where he goes from there I have no idea," Rafter told the Daily Telegraph. "It's a really hard one to say that he can be better than Lleyton [Hewitt], who won two Grand Slams and made a few other finals. That's a pretty good career."
Rafter has offered to help Tomic at the U.S. Open. "I expect him to do reasonably well over in America, but he may take a year or two to find himself and grow into his body," Rafter said. "My attitude is play as much as you can, get a lot of running in your legs, play in a lot of matches being tough. But this kid has done everything different his whole career, so why stop now?"
