Americans Rajeev Ram and Scott Lipsky have temporarily ended their doubles partnership, as Ram wants to spend the summer focusing on singles. Ram and Lipsky are 12th in the race to the ATP World Tour Finals in London and just reached the quarterfinals of Wimbledon, where they lost a five-setter to the Bryan brothers. Ram has reached the semifinals of Newport in singles this week.

"We looked at and we decided that the summer is hot and tough and I really wanted to focus on my singles," Ram said. "It’s a tough situation because doubles takes practice as well and it’s hard for me  to spend the time on court with him and that’s unfair, so we are taking a little break."
