AMSTERDAM (AP)—Former Wimbledon champion Richard Krajicek has reportedly pulled out of the race to become the next chief executive of the ATP.
Top-selling Dutch daily De Telegraaf reports Wednesday that Krajicek believes he doesn't have enough support from ATP board members.
Krajicek could not immediately be reached for comment.
Adam Helfant, an American who took over as head of the ATP in January 2009, is stepping down this month at the end of his three-year contract.
Krajicek won Wimbledon in 1996 and is director of the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament in Rotterdam.
