Hi everyone. Here's today's post for discussing the live tennis that's going on. As always we ask that you keep your exchanges focused on the tennis until it's over.
In a few minutes Rafael Nadal will take on defending champion Novak Djokovic in the Rome final. As well as looking for his fourth title in Rome, Nadal is playing for his fifteenth Masters Series shield (that would be two behind Andre Agassi's all-time total), and to extend a winning streak on clay that currently amounts to 29 matches. Djokovic has just beaten Roger Federer, knows that he extended the world number one to three sets in the Monte Carlo final two weeks ago, and has his number three ranking on the line today - if he loses, Andy Murray takes over that spot on May 11th. Normally the handover of the number three spot wouldn't mean too much, but Djokovic has held it for almost two years, and Murray has been knocking on the door for some months now.
As always, enjoy today's tennis.
