Serbia and Argentina have set up a blockbuster Davis Cup semifinal in Serbia in September with quarterfinal victories. Serbia defeated Sweden, while Argentina defeated Kazakhstan. Argentina could feature 2009 U.S. Open champion Juan Martin Del Potro, former top 5 player David Nalbandian, No. 16 Juan Ignacio Chela and No. 43 Juan Monaco, while Serbia boasts No. 1 Novak Djokovic, No. 16 Victor Troicki, Janko Tipsarevic and doubles standout Nenad Zimonjic.
"If Nalbandian comes in really good shape then I feel it’s going to be really, really tricky," Tipsarevic told DavisCup.com. "Whichever surface we choose I think it’s going to be a really tough match."
Monaco added, "I think [Serbia] is one of the best teams in the world. They’ve been playing together for two years and they have Djokovic. They are very good players, I’m not talking just about Djokovic. They are a complete team. We expect all the best. Every year we expect to finally win the tournament. It is the biggest achievement we have left for our country."
