Serena Williams says that playing her first match at the U.S. Open since her famous 2009 explosion against a lineswoman in her semifinal loss to Kim Clijsters didn't stir anything inside her. Williams defeated Serbia's Bojana Jovanovski 6-1, 6-1 on Tuesday.

"I feel fine," she said. "Even last time I played here, I went out with a bang. Came in with a bang tonight. So it's all good ... I think it was two years ago, and last year I didn't play. If anything, I thought, Wow, I'm back. I haven't played in a long time. I'm telling you, out of sight, out of mind for me."
