The Williams sisters, winners of 13 major titles as a duo, may soon return to their rightful station in doubles action. Singles No. 1 Serena Williams posted on (where else?) Instagram on Wednesday that she and older sister Venus are likely en route to WTA play as equal components in their tenacious tandem.

"I spy.... that amazing doubles team," Serena wrote in part.

Her closing line in the ellipsis-tastic post: "Pick your detergent....."

The Spin has no grand idea about what that last bit means. Do the Williams sisters plan to clean up the competition at the French Open, Wimbledon and the Rio Olympics? Of course they would have designs on doing just that, but it’s worth noting that this pair hasn't won a major doubles title since Wimbledon in 2012. They have nonexistent doubles rankings at this point. Their combined age at the impending Summer Olympics will be a storied 70 years.

And they may just yet wash out all their foes in Rio. That would be so Williams.
