With her marathon three-set loss to Victoria Azarenka in the semifinals of the U.S. Open, Maria Sharapova falls to 4-6 against the world No. 1, a head-to-head record she would like to change.

“We both have many years ahead of us,” Sharapova said. “I'm sure we will be facing against each other many more times in Grand Slams and other tournaments. She has the better record right now against me. Hopefully when I'm done I can change that around.”
