U.S. Open junior boys' champion Jack Sock completes his high school career with an 80-0 record and leads the Blue Valley North team to its third consecutive team state title in Kansas. Sock also won his fourth consecutive state singles title, something that had not been done since 1990. "When you think about the history of it,” Sock told the Topeka Journal, "It’s pretty special. It’s up there with the rest of my accomplishments, something I’ll always cherish for the rest of my life...Ultimately it was my decision and it’s what I wanted to do. All the guys on my team, they mean the world to me. That’s why I’m here playing and not out traveling the world."

No. 575-ranked Sock has been a practice partner with the U.S. Davis Cup team and has played a number of Futures and Challenger tournaments. It is unclear whether he will go pro or to college.
