After 12 defeats in ATP competition, Robin Soderling scores an unofficial win over Roger Federer with a 6-7(8), 7-6, 6-2 win over the Swiss at the Abu Dhabi exhibition event.

"I always said the more times I play him, the closer I'll get," said Soderling.

Rafael Nadal, who defeated David Ferrer 7-6(3), 6-3, will face Soderling in the final.
