MADRID (AP)—Spain has chosen Cordoba as the venue to host France in the semifinals of the Davis Cup.
The Spanish tennis federation says via Twitter that the Sept. 16-18 series will be held on clay courts in the Andalucian city’s Plaza de Toros bullfighting arena.
In the previous round, Spain beat the United States, while France eliminated Germany. Reigning champion Serbia hosts Argentina in the other semifinal.
Spain is seeking its third Davis Cup championship in four years.
