Past and present Real Madrid soccer stars have been in attendance at the tennis in Madrid this week, with Cristiano Ronaldo, Raul and Zinedine Zidane watching Rafael Nadal's opening match at the Caja Magica on Wednesday. Singer Paulina Rubio was also at the match.
On Wednesday, Aitor Karanka and Miguel Torres were in attendance at Roger Federer's opener, as was model and former SI Swimsuit covergirl Bar Refaeli.
Refaeli, who is going out with Leonardo DiCaprio, caused a stir when she arrived at an official tournament party in the evening with Feliciano Lopez. The two posed side-by-side for pictures on the red carpet behind a backdrop featuring one of the tournament sponsors.
Lopez has been at the centre of a Spanish tabloid frenzy over his breakup with TV presenter and former Miss Spain Maria Jose Suarez, who is expecting the former couple's child. He avoided waiting reporters when leaving the event. Following a handful of widely-publicized interviews given by Suarez to Spanish media, the two recently issued a statement saying they would no longer publicly comment on the relationship or the breakup.
