With a 6-3, 6-4, 7-6 (4) first-round win over Thanasi Kokkinakis at the US Open on Monday night, Nick Kyrgios not only continued his fantastic last six months—he’s won 31 out of his last 39 matches, cutting his ranking from No. 132 to No. 25 since Indian Wells—but he also reached a very noteworthy milestone.
