Stat of the Day: Novak Djokovic records milestone 1,000th win of career

World No. 1 Novak Djokovic has written his name even deeper into the history books today, recording the 1,000th win of his career by defeating No. 10-ranked Casper Ruud, 6-4, 6-3, in the semifinals of the Masters 1000 event in Rome.

He’s just the fifth man in the entire Open Era to reach the 1,000-win milestone.
