LOS ANGELES, Aug. 21, 2023 – Tennis Channel Live at the US Open, the network’s daily lead-in show during the most important American tennis tournament, will premiere Monday, Aug. 28, at 9 a.m. ET. Viewers will be treated to two hours of news, analysis, highlights and special reports most mornings of the two-week competition.

The US Open takes place Monday, Aug. 28-Sunday, Sept. 10. Tennis Channel Live at the US Open will run from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. ET Monday, Aug. 28, through Wednesday, Sept. 6. During championship weekend Saturday, Sept. 9, and Sunday, Sept. 10, the program will air from 7 p.m.-8 p.m.

Tennis Channel’s US Open on-air team is anchored by award-winning host Steve Weissman (@Steve\Weissman). He will be joined by former players Paul Annacone (@paul\annacone) and Chanda Rubin (@Chanda_Rubin). Annacone, who won the 1985 Australian Open doubles championship, also coached all-time greats Pete Sampras and Roger Federer. Rubin won a major title at the Australian Open as well, taking the doubles crown in 1996.

Author, editor and reporter Jon Wertheim (@jonwertheim) is also on the team. Known for his work withSports Illustrated_ and CBS 60 Minutes as well as Tennis Channel, Wertheim will provide special reports and analysis during the tournament.

Digital Coverage

During the US Open, digital-subscription service Tennis Channel Plus will show classic matches as well as top-player battles from this season. The platform’s “Americans in Action” lineup will showcase United States competitors again in 2023.  Tennis Channel viewers can follow the tournament anywhere though authenticated streaming on the channel’s app.

Match scores, news, tournament information, daily orders of play, live blogs, statistics and reports from its online editorial team will be available throughout the event on the network’s Tennis.com website and app. Tennis Channel’s free “Match Point Predictor” and “Racquet Bracket” fantasy games are back again for the 2023 US Open, accessible on the site http://tennis.com/play.
