Tennis Meets Interior Design: Ideas for Your Home

The Spin takes a detour today from the realm of pro tennis newsmakers into the world of interior design. Instagram user @iwaslikeyo catalyzes this dispatch by posting a photo that rekindles my desire to complete a home project. A while back, I started putting together the same motif with a pair of vintage tennis racquets adorning a wall, but I've yet to acquire the host of archaic wooden novelties that this home decorator boasts. Antique stores and the like pepper my city, though, and it won't take much longer to collect a full set of about six. What's more, I intend to go further with the look, finishing the display by installing mirrors in the racquet faces.

The inspiration: Interior design blog Apartment Therapy, a bastion of ID creativity, if you're taken by such things. At right, from [countryliving.com.] Apartment Therapy delineates the (largely) DIY nature of the project in more than passable detail, and has another surprise up its figurative sleeve: A tennis racquet trellis.
This begs the question, Spin readers: What's your favorite way to show off your passion for tennis in your home? Do you have design elements, decor, photos, posters, or other items to enhance your joy for tennis and make it readily apparent to visitors? Feel free to share ideas and tips in the comments below.
