Paradorn Srichaphan has officially retired, reports the ATP tour.
The former Top 10 player from Thailand had repeatedly said he still hoped to return despite being sidelined with a wrist injury since early 2007. But a recent motorcycle racing accident, in which he broke both his hands and injured his knee has forced him to call it quits, according to the ATP.
Srichaphan, still a superstar in Thailand and involved in numerous non-tennis ventures, will coach the Thai Davis Cup team.
