Take a break here on your weekly dedicated OT thread and chat about all matters not related to sudden retirements, first round crash-outs, new #1s... Instead, feast your eyes on this photo sent in by Beth. She and daughter Missie visited the Oak Alley Plantation in Louisiana recently. That alley of trees behind them is beautiful, but I have to say that my first thought was that Missie's grown some since that lovely kitty pumpkin photo that Beth sent in for Halloween.

Hope this will motivate some others to go down to LA and inject some more tourism money into the economy still recovering from Katrina and the consequent alterations (construction projects, etc.). I know there's still a long way to go, but it's nice to think, isn't it, that even our leisure time can help?
