The Locker Room

Howdy, folks, everyone ready for tomorrow?

This will be your Locker Room OT entry until I return from the long weekend, and you'll have a Crisis Center entry for match-calling tomorrow. Here's a favorite cowboy story of mine, just to get the ball rolling. This comedienne, I forget her name, but she's well known now, was doing a series of stand-up shows in Tejas. One night, she thought she was totally on her game, and left the stage and took her place at the bar, totally depressed about having bombed. A few moments later, one of the cowpokes wandered over, politely removed his Stetson, and said, "Pardon, m'am, but I felt obliged to tell you that you was so funny it was all we could do to keep from laughing."

That's the cowboy way, alright.  The little 'poke Luke and I are going swimming in the pond for the first time this year. Am I fired up or what!

Also, we don't have many tennis-playing cowgirls at TW, but Jess, who hasn't posted much lately, is one of them. She's out in Idaho, and when we last emailed she was on mare watching, awaiting a brand-new foal, out of her 19-year old Arabian. Jess, we need a picture of that little pony when you get a chance!
