Greg Daniels, who has brought the American version of The Office to TV sets nationwide, has a spanking-new show coming down the pike, now that his previous creation's series finale looms. Per the Hollywood Reporter, the yet-untitled tennis sitcom "revolves around Richie, a mediocre professional tennis player who returns to his college town -- the scene of his greatness -- in order to reboot his life. There, he's caught between a lifestyle he never got to live -- embodied by his carefree, bar owning younger brother Tom -- and Kristen, the love of his life whom he'll have to grow up for in order to get."

This description of the hero (or antihero?) sounds a lot like Tom Cavanagh, of the short-lived show *Ed*, only wielding a racquet. We'll gladly take that, even if it arrives sans Julie Bowen, an Ed co-star as the object of unrequited high-school love, as she surely lives it up on Modern Family these days. The tennis show's casting choices have obviously yet to be released, but one can trust it'll be a sad-eyed but handsome fellow and a vivacious, who-wouldn't-want-her ladyfriend. Who would you cast, Spin readers?
