Meanwhile, here is an important blogging advisory re. the weekend. Tennis is a sport that eats up our three largest traditional U.S. summer holidays: Memorial Day (Roland Garros - usually), Fourth of July (Wimbledon- always) and Labor Day (U.S. Open - always). This is great for tennis fans, but hard on reporters who have families, like me. So I am celebrating the fact that, for a change, I'll be able to spend a proper holiday with Lisa and Cowboy Luke, before leaving for Paris a week from tomorrow.
Over the next three days, you will have a new Locker Room for OOT (off-off-topic, like what you're doing on Memorial Day), this thread for discussing the draw and general tennis OT, and, starting Sunday, Roland Garros Crisis Center, where you can do match-calling and commentary on the French Open.
