In what is probably the best possible Miami Open final we could have gotten on the women’s side, four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka takes on impending world No. 1 Iga Swiatek on Saturday. While Osaka doesn't play as often as she used to, she’s still one of the best players in the world when she is on her game. Meanwhile, Swiatek has just been a winning machine of late, and is looking to complete the elusive Sunshine Double.

With Swiatek a -205 moneyline favorite, it’s hard to suggest backing her with that kind of juice. While the 20-year-old is the more complete player between these two, it’s tough to completely rule out an Osaka win. The world No. 77—yes, for now—is simply too good of a server for that, and she seems as motivated as we’ve seen her in quite some time.

With that said, the best way to bet this match is to simply hope for a lengthy battle.

You can get pretty good odds on the Over of 21.5 games in this match, and that seems like a good number for these two players. Osaka’s serve was shaky against Belinda Bencic in the semis, but she wasn’t broken once in her 6-2, 6-1 quarterfinal win over world No. 11 Danielle Collins. Osaka is 7-1 in finals in her career, and if she plays anything like she did against the American, it’s hard to see her not at least forcing a tiebreaker.

For as dominant as Swiatek can be from the baseline, we have seen some loose service games from her. Osaka is not the type of player to let those opportunities slip away, and she'll try to rip any second serve that she sees. But even if Osaka snags a set off the strength of her return, it’d be shocking if Swiatek—who has won her last 16 matches—doesn’t at least force a decider. Swiatek is 12-1 in finals in her career, and she has only lost one set in her 12 victories.

All in all, it isn’t the worst thing in the world to not be backing one player in what should be an exciting match. The best-case scenario for this one is that it’s a competitive three-setter, which would allow you to kick back and enjoy decider after having already earned a stress-free win.

The Pick: Over 21.5 Games (-120)
