Janko Tipsarevic has had another foot surgery to try to repair his left heel, according to the Serbian press.
Tipsarevic had one surgery to remove a benign growth due to fibromatosis, but the problem reoccurred, requiring a second procedure. "I was operated again in Frankfurt and I hope all will be well this time,” he said. “Trouble is that a fibromatosis may keep returning."
The former world No. 8, who has not played since retiring from his opening match in Valencia last October, has not yet set a date for his return. The 30-year-old Serbian was quoted as saying he has been unable to walk without crutches in recent months.
