One talented 19-year-old was crowned for the first time in his career as an ATP champion, while Rafael Nadal and others geared up for the prestigious year-end event in London.

Jannik Sinner

Two competitors were vying for their first ATP tour-level trophy, and in the end, 19-year-old Sinner came out on top with a 6-4, 3-6, 7-6 (3) victory over Vasek Pospisil. The Italian became the youngest man to claim an ATP title since Kei Nishikori in 2008. He will also crack the Top 40 for the first time in his young career.

Vasek Pospisil

The world No. 74 may have come just short of capturing his first ATP singles title, but he finished his 2020 season on a strong note by taking down two seeded players this week in Sofia. Pospisil also upended countryman Felix Auger-Aliassime last month in Vienna.

Rafael Nadal

While the 20-time major champion has more positive memories from other events around the globe, he's looking to turn it around at this year's ATP Finals. Nadal has reached the final round at the season finale on two occasions, but has yet to capture the title. The Spaniard will begin his quest against Andrey Rublev, who he hasn't faced since beating the Russian at the 2017 US Open.

Stefanos Tsitsipas

The Greek took home last year's ATP Finals title by defeating Dominic Thiem in the final and he will face the Austrian yet again, this time at the beginning of the round-robin stage. Although the world No. 6 had a deep run at this year's rescheduled Roland Garros, he's entering the year-end event on the back of two losses and questions about whether his leg injury has improved.

Andrey Rublev

Before suffering a third-round loss to Stan Wawrinka at the ATP Masters 1000 in Paris, the world No. 8 had won eleven consecutive matches en route to adding two more 500-level titles to his collection. Rublev is undoubtedly a different player than he was back in 2017 and his opening battle with Nadal will surely not disappoint.
