Well, at long last it has come down to this—as many of you expected, some of you hoped, and some of you feared. It's No. 1 Novak Djokovic vs. No. 2 Rafael Nadal in the U.S. Open men's final. I won't bother with any forecasting, as I wrote the preview that is now up at the home page. Use this thread to discuss and ultimately call the match. Steve Tignor is writing the "red-meat" post on the final, while I'll be posting a Racquet Reaction soon after the last ball is hit, sans quotes (other than those either player may offer during the on-court post-match interviews). I may be back with a wrap piece of some kind tomorrow, and I'm expecting Highpockets to file a commemorative poem once again.
