Career BestUS Open Performance: Third round, 2016

2017 High: Labeled one of America’s rising stars, a fter bursting onto the tour scene as a teenager, Harrison hit a rough patch for a couple of seasons. But he has rebounded nicely and is playing the best tennis of his career this season, as evidenced by his first ATP singles title in Memphis in February.

Harrison kicked off the summer hard-court swing with another final-round appearance, in Atlanta. He can also call himself a Grand Slam champion, having captured the French Open doubles title with Michael Venus.

2017 Low: After getting over the title hump, Harrison proceeded to fall in the opening round in Indian Wells and Miami, the first two ATP Masters 1000 events of the year.

Best Social Media Moment: At this year’s edition of the famed Player Revue party in Monte Carlo, Harrison got into the act. Channeling his inner Heath Ledger, Harrison played the Joker in one of the skits.

US Open Outlook: Harrison will fall just short of a seeding in NYC, but he'll be a difficult first-round opponent for whomever draws him. His aggressive game translates best on hard courts, and if there’s anyone that can get a charge from home-crowd support, it’s this fiery American.
