Zvonareva reached a career-high of No. 5 last year before suffering an ankle injury in April.
The two surprise Wimbledon semifinalists also made big jumps—Petra Kvitova went to No. 29 from No. 62 and Tsvetana Pironkova to No. 35 from No. 82. Qualifier Kaia Kanepi, who reached the quarterfinals, is up to No. 38 from No. 80.
Ana Ivanovic fell to No. 65 and the injured Sabine Lisicki to No. 79.
