The Vienna tournament Erste Banck has moved up to an ATP World Tour 500 tournament, while the Valencia even has dropped down to the ATP 250.
Vienna will be played October 19-25 with a prize money total of $1,951,900 Valencia will now have a prize money total of $600,700.
Former No. 1 and current Valencia tournament director Juan Carlos Ferrer said, “Our objective now is to organize the best open 250 at the same unique venue at the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias.”
Andy Murray won both tournaments last year.
