Andy Murray, Rafael Nadal and Caroline Wozniacki were all flag bearers during the Rio Olympics opening ceremony. The Brit called it “the proudest moment of his professional career.” He’ll be defending his singles gold medal and playing doubles with his brother Jamie.

But it was retired Brazilian Gustavo Kuerten who stole the show. The three-time French Open champion ran the Olympic torch into the stadium with unparalleled joy.

John Isner beat American teen Taylor Fritz 7-5, 6-4 to reach the semifinals and set up another American showdown against fellow giant Reilly Opelka. The other semifinal will see Nick Kyrgios take on rising ATP #NextGen star Yoshihito Nishioka.
