Andre Agassi and Stefanie Graf sure know how to do it right at Halloween. Last year, the retired German great—with 22 Grand Slam singles titles to her credit, lest we forget—went as Smurfette, even as her husband caked on the body paint and became Mr. T. Going a bit lower key this year, Graf donned a swan dress and became Icelandic trippy-pop singer Bjork, while Agassi opted to stick with that rock music theme and channeled his inner Slash, guitarist for Guns N' Roses. See the pair here, with a second look via Twitter. (Photos from @AndreAgassi.)
Said Graf on Facebook, "We had a great Halloween and a lot of fun trick or treating with the kids. When Bjork wore the swan dress to the Oscars I thought it as hilarious and would be fun to wear one year….it was a little too long ago for the kids to know who I was though." (Son Jaden and daughter Jaz are 11 and 8 years old, respectively.)
What say we to these costumes, Spin readers? And did any of you go as something or someone tennis inspired? Here's your friendly Spin keeper himself at Halloween 2006, as a 1970s McEnroe-esque tennis star, and one being painted by a merciless Bob Ross at that.
CHOPPED Meanwhile, in recently-retired tennis star news, and speaking of costumes that should be retired forever, Andy Roddick and Brooklyn Decker appeared at a Halloween gathering as ... John and Lorena Bobbitt.
