The seedings for the Olympic Games have been released. The singles seedings are strictly based on tour rankings, while the doubles seedings are based on the combined rankings of each team, with each player using the higher of their singles and doubles rankings.

Bob and Mike Bryan, bronze medalists in Beijing, are the top seeds in the men’s doubles, with defending champions Roger Federer and Stanislas Wawrinka seeded sixth. The French team of Michael Llodra and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga is seeded No. 2, while the Serbian team of Janko Tipsarevic and Nenad Zimonjic is seeded No. 3. Another Serbian team, comprised of Novak Djokovic and Victor Troicki, is seeded No. 8.

Liezel Huber and Lisa Raymond of the U.S. are seeded No. 1 in the women’s doubles, while the defending champions, Venus and Serena Williams, are unseeded. The Italian team of Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci is seeded No. 2, followed by the Russian duo of Maria Kirilenko and Nadia Petrova, and Czechs Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka.
