Washington Kastles def. ORANGE COUNTY BREAKERS 22-18
The Washington Kastles continued their impressive win streak in Orange County with a victory last night in WTT’s first live stream. What was even more impressive was the play of Kastles’ Leander Paes, who just won a mixed doubles title at Wimbledon on Sunday. He flew all the way from London to play in last night’s match. Paes helped win men’s doubles with Bobby Reynolds and a mixed doubles set with Anastasia Rodionova to secure Washington's 17th straight win. The Kastles have not lost a match since July 22, 2010.

BOSTON LOBSTERS def. Sacramento Capitals 20-14
With Boston leading 15-12, Irina Falconi clinched a Lobsters victory last night with a 5-2 victory over Sacramento’s Asia Muhammad in women’s singles. Each squad fell in their respective Conference Finals last season, so this was a solid momentum boost for Boston to start off the season with a win against a talented team.

It’s always an exciting atmosphere when Lindsay Davenport competes, especially at home in front of a great Breakers crowd. The Explorers are coming off a tough victory on the road and looking to continue their success against the Breakers. This should prove to be a great match-up in Orange County.
