Wozniacki beats Li in 2 sets at Hong Kong Classic

HONG KONG (AP) Top-ranked Caroline Wozniacki beat Li Na of China 6-4, 6-3 Wednesday at the Hong Kong Classic exhibition tournament to earn her first win of the year.

The 20-year-old Dane broke the Australian Open semifinalist in the eighth game of the first set to lead 5-3. The Chinese veteran broke back, but Wozniacki broke again in the next game.

Li jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the second set, but Wozniacki won the final six games to claim the match.

Wozniacki lost to two-time defending U.S. Open champion Kim Clijsters in an exhibition in Thailand on Saturday.
