Caroline Wozniacki, for her dearth of errors on the court, can sometimes seemingly do no right off of it. There was Kangaroo-gate from the Aussie Open this year, and then her lampooning of Rafael Nadal's U.S. Open cramps.

Now she's sending up Serena? Talk about the polar opposite of an easy target. See the clip here from Caro's exhibition "performance" alongside Dominika Cibulkova:

There's something entirely odd about seeing the barely-legal world No. 1 prancing around the court to Rihanna's thumping "S&M" lyrics. "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but chains and whips excite me." So goes the song, as Wozniacki drops it low in her well-padded Stella McCartney canary frock.

Reaction was rather decisive on this giggly misadventure. Said TENNIS.com's own Steve Tignor, "Wozniacki still wants us to know that she's not boring; she'd be better off putting more of her exciting side into her game instead." And Sports Illustrated's Jon Wertheim opined that Wozniacki "[p]ushes the envelope, much as she pushes the tennis ball. ... [She] might want to invest in armor—not Under Armour, armor like breastplates and helmets—next time she faces Serena."

Will she ever learn? There are certain (PR) skills that Ricardo Sanchez simply can't teach.
