By reaching the final of Bangkok, American Donald Young cracks the Top 50 for the first time in his five-year career. The 22-year-old is projected to reach No. 43 when the rankings are released on Monday.

"It was great,” he said of his week, where he upended Gael Monfils in the semis, but fell to Andy Murray in the final. “I beat some high caliber players and played well. It's great to win four matches and I’m into the top 50 and that was one of my goals starting the year. I wanted to do it a little earlier, but I’m happy I did it now. I want to keep building on it and hopefully have more tournaments like this.”
