Kristina Mladenovic and Ivan Dodig
The No. 5 seeds won the mixed doubles title with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Aussie duo Jaimee Fourlis and Jason Kubler. This is the third mixed Grand Slam title for Mladenovic and a fourth for Dodig.
Rafael Nadal
The No. 6 seed is into his sixth Australian Open final and there's a lot at stake. With just one more win Down Under he will set a new record for the most men's Grand Slam titles at 21.
Fans Support Rafa
There was an overwhelming amount of support for the Spaniard on Friday. Many fans brought signs like this one and cheered the 20-time major champ to victory.
Ashleigh Barty
The world No. 1 was spotted getting in some solid reps ahead of her first Aussie Open Grand Slam final.
Daniil Medvedev
The No. 2 seed beat Stefanos Tsitsipas, 7-6 (5), 4-6, 6-4, 6-1, but it wasn't his prettiest win. The Russian fired off at the chair umpire and it's something he regrets. Medvedev is looking to become the first man (in Open Era history) to win his second Slam immediately after his first.
