On Saturday, Coco Gauff and Caty McNally picked up their second title of 2019 with a 6-2, 6-2 dismissal of Kaitlyn Christian and Alexa Guarachi in Luxembourg. The youngsters improve to 12-2 together on the pro tour.

What's most striking about Team McCoco, aside from their obvious youth, is their confidence and composure. They act like they belong, and more importantly, they play to win. There's no signs of junior tennis when they're on court—meaning moon balls, defensive strategies, long baseline rallies or shaky serving. Though just 17 (McNally) and 15 years old (Gauff), they only let out a silly giggle or a smile here and there. For the most part, they remain deadly serious, attack relentlessly, serve big and are not afraid of the net whatsoever.

On their first set point, Gauff fired her second straight return right at Gaurachi's body, forcing an error to seal it. They showed some signs of shakiness when McNally attempted to serve out the match, but recovered to seal the crown on match point No. 5 in the next game, topped off with a chest bump and a synchronized hand signal to the camera.

Gauff was the only player in the trophy ceremony not awarded champagne since the drinking age in France is 16, so she was given grape juice instead.

"I hope this is just the second of many WTA title," McNally said.

Gaurachi and Christian are doubles specialists, boasting rankings of No. 65 and No. 73 respectively. Gaurachi was seeking her second WTA doubles title, and Christian her first. McNally and Gauff dismissed them 6-2, 6-3 last week in Linz on their way to the semifinals, where they dropped a tight deciding tiebreaker. Luxembourg marked the young American duo's fifth-ever tournament together, and fourth at the WTA level.

Together for the first time, they won the junior US Open in 2018, which earned them a wild card into the 2019 US Open, where they reached the round of 16. This week was their second WTA final, after thrilling local crowds to win the Citi Open in Washington, D.C.
