First Roger, then Ana and Serena: Oscars night in Hollywood had its fair share of Grand Slam champions. After Roger Federer and wife Mirka walked the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre, Ana Ivanovic and Serena Williams followed suit.

Ivanovic, the 2008 Roland Garros champion was accompanied by her husband, reitred soccer player Bastian Schweinsteiger, as a guest of Rolex, and they were also photographed on the red carpet of the famed Vanity Fair magazine Oscars party; while Williams, too, was snapped on the red carpet of the latter with moguls including Kris and Kendall Jenner.

“My wife is here today. She has to work, so to speak, and I am the accompaniment that has fit quite well," the former FC Bayern Munich midfielder joked with German broadcaster ProSieben ahead of the show, while also saying he was "crossing his fingers" for fellow German Sandra Hüller in the "Best Actress" race. (She lost out to Emma Stone.)

In a light-hearted moment on social media before the couple glammed up, Ivanovic and retired skier Lindsey Vonn, who also attended, modeled as Schweinsteiger's "assistants" as he clutched an Oscar statuette and made an acceptance speech.

Williams, meanwhile, wore a black, red and white strapless dress with matching long gloves, designed by the fashion house Off-White, continuing her recent connections with the label after she attended its show last week during Paris Fashion Week. She accessorized with Messika jewelry, including a large, ruby red ring, and an Audemars Piguet watch.

Celebs including Khloe Kardashian and Paris Hilton raved about Williams' look on Instagram, where the 23-time Grand Slam champion posted two collections of photos.
