When Liverpool F.C. captured its first Premier League title in 30 years, on Thursday, fans around the world were overcome with relief and ecstasy, and tennis players were no exception.

Most notably, Caroline Wozniacki, who's long been a very public supporter of the club, took to Instagram to share her excitement:

"What an incredible performance all year!!" she added on Twitter.

On her Instagram Story, Wozniacki also shared some images dug up by the page Tennis Galaxy, including one of her playing tennis in a jersey signed by longtime Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard.

And it turns out Gerrard is a fan of hers in return; here he is in February congratulating Wozniacki at the conclusion of her career:

Elsewhere in tennis, Kyle Edmund got to celebrate two big wins recently: his favorite club taking the title—"he is more nervous watching the team than playing tennis," his ATP bio reads—and a match-tiebreak victory for himself over Andy Murray at the Battle of the Brits.

Also showing their chuffed-ness were the Liverpool-native Skupski brothers, owners of several ATP doubles titles:

Liverpool clinched the championship with 28 wins, two draws, and just one loss.

Liverpool's motto and anthem is "You'll Never Walk Alone," a bold statement that apparently holds true even in a sport as isolating as tennis.
