Cori "Coco" Gauff demonstrated a professional's poise and power off her serve and both wings on Monday, when, at age 15, she defeated Venus Williams, 6-4, 6-4, to pick up her first Wimbledon win.

She showed that same confidence and comfort beyond her years afterward, when she lit up the room in her post-match press conference. On top of exhibiting the self-assuredness that got her a clean victory over a five-time champion, Gauff revealed quite a bit about herself as a person, including her taste in music and memes.

Here are five fun facts she spilled after the match:

1

She prefers to be called Coco.

If nothing else, this prevents confusion between Coco and her coach and father, Corey. "I hope my dad doesn't think they're cheering for him," Gauff joked.

In addition to Serena and Venus, she's inspired by Roger Federer.

And it turns out the eight-time men's champion has already played a role in Gauff's development.

"When I lost first round Australian Open juniors, I talked to him," she said. "[He] gave me kind of a pep talk. The next tournament was French Open juniors, and I ended up winning it, so I guess it helped."

Her other heroes are Rihanna and Beyoncé.

Gauff's playlists are wider-ranging than that, though.

"Before the match I was listening to 'Icon' by Jaden [and] 'Humble' by Kendrick Lamar," she said. "When I walked on the court, I was listening to 'Rice Street' by Miss Mulatto. She's a new, upcoming female rapper."

She loves Iron Man.

Gauff's emotions visibly came through when she put the match away against Williams, so a reporter asked her when the last other time she cried was.

"Actually the movie Endgame. When Iron Man died, I was crying," Gauff said. "Every time I think of it, I get teary-eyed because I really liked Iron Man."

She also dressed up as Thor last Halloween:

Her favorite meme is "And I Oop."

The phrase is particularly applicable in tennis, where OOP is a popular acronym for Order of Play.

"Actually all my friends were texting me, they were like, And I—oop," Gauff said about the moment her name showed up next to Venus'. "I kind of knew it was coming, but ... you're still shocked when you play your hero first round."

In the second round, Gauff is slated to take on Magdalena Rybarikova, who beat Aryna Sabalenka on Monday and made the Wimbledon semifinals in 2017.
