Centre Court and Arthur Ashe Stadium are two of the most treasured tennis venues on the planet, and the most desired to play at. But beyond well-known facilities are hidden gems that offer unique and underrated tennis experiences.

So, in honor of TENNIS.com's Underrated Week, Baseline is bringing your attention to five of the most underrated tennis venues in the United States that you should visit in the future.

1

Enchantment Resort (Sedona, Ariz.)

The dramatic red rocks surround guests at the intimate two-court venue located at the Enchantment Resort in Sedona. There is a beauty in solitude and peacefulness that is exuded from the Arizona resort. Indulge in spa treatments, fine dining and a quiet hit at one of tennis' hidden gems. Tennis thrives in the desert even outside of California.

2

Alice Marble Tennis Courts (San Francisco)

The name should seem familiar and that's because Alice Marble is the winner of 18 Grand Slam titles before the Open Era. Four courts sit on top of the world (at least it feels like it) in San Francisco. Players can take in an incredible view of the city from within George Sterling Park. What do guests pay for a beautiful view and tennis? It's free!

3

The Courts (Borrego Springs, Calif.)

Four courts located in the middle of the California desert is where you can find one of most distinctive and highly underrated places to play. At The Courts it's all about the social experience. Guests can stay in trailers on the property, relax by the pool and look at the stars at night in the "dark-sky" community. From serves to coffee at the bar, this tennis facility serves aces only.

4

All Iowa Lawn Tennis Club (Charles City, Iowa)

Just like the name suggests, this is the closest to Wimbledon Iowans can get without leaving the state. In 2003, the Mark Kuhn family built a grass tennis court on their farm. The unique court is free for patrons to enjoy a taste of Centre Court.

5

Vanderbilt Tennis Club (Grand Central Station, NY)

That's right there's a tennis court hidden inside of one of the most traveled train stations in the country. The single court features unique architecture, including a huge semicircle glass window at the net post, shortened backcourt space and lower ceilings. While it makes for a cool bucket-list experience, it'll set you back a whopping $250 an hour.
