LOS ANGELES, July 17, 2024 – Tennis Channel will have live coverage of the International Tennis Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Saturday, July 20, at 6 p.m. ET.  The celebration takes place during this week’s Infosys Hall of Fame Open in Newport, R.I., and is an annual highlight of the six-week season of North American summer events leading up to the US Open.  All eight of these tournaments will air exclusively on Tennis Channel, its second network T2 and streaming service Tennis Channel+ (calendar and schedule information below).

As he has done since 2014, longtime Tennis Channel commentator and host Brett Haber (@BrettHaber) will be master of ceremonies during this year’s Hall of Fame program.  Leading up to the event, a special edition of Tennis Channel Live will focus on the inductees and begin at 5 p.m. ET.  Network analysts and former players Chanda Rubin (@Chanda\Rubin) and Robbie Koenig (@RobKoenigTennis) will join host Steve Weissman (@Steve\Weissman).

The International Tennis Hall of Fame class of 2024 features eight-time Grand Slam doubles champion Leander Paes; player, broadcaster and promoter Vijay Amritraj; and reporter, author and tennis historian Richard Evans.

For this year’s “Summer in the Cities” programming, Tennis Channel plans to show more than 340 hours of live matches and another 365 hours of encore replays.  In addition to live coverage, Tennis Channel+ will offer on-demand matches upon their conclusion.  The eight North American tournaments are the Infosys Hall of Fame Open (Newport), Atlanta Open (Atlanta), Mubadala Citi DC Open (Washington), National Bank Open presented by Rogers (Montreal/Toronto), Cincinnati Open (Cincinnati), Tennis in the Land (Cleveland), Winston-Salem Open (Winston-Salem, N.C.) and Abierto GNP Seguros 2024 (Monterrey, Mexico).  Men’s competitions are in Newport, Atlanta, Montreal and Winston-Salem, with women’s events in Toronto, Cleveland and Monterrey.  Washington and Cincinnati are combined men’s and women’s tournaments.
